Benny Romero, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. He was born on Feb. 28, 1942 to the late Cleofas and Ruby Romero in Los Vigiles. Benny was employed by Prices Ilfeld's Furniture for more than 30 years. He enjoyed life and could frequently be seen around town in one of his prized vehicles.He is survived by two brothers, Mike Romero and wife, Ida Mae of Las Vegas and Eddie Romero and wife, MaryAnn of Santa Fe; sisters-in-law, Celeste Romero and Erlinda Romero, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.Funeral services for Benny will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church as follows: Rosary will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday; funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. by Father Douglas Mitchell.
