Bentley Braxton Holbrook, 8, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on September 07, 2023 after being rushed to Cabell Huntington Hospital due to an unknown virus that tragically took his life. At 1:35 pm on the 7th he went home to be with the Lord. Bentley was born on June 29, 2015. He loved to play Fortnite and Among Us but more importantly he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving parents Arthur Holbrook and Tanya Stambaugh of Ashland Ky. His siblings are listed as followed Dominic Holbrook, Ethan Holbrook, and Ryan Caudill of Ashland Ky, Andy Burchett, Connor Burchett, and Mason Burchett of Blaine Ky,and his sisters Santana Holbrook, and Amber "Ber" Caudill(Drake Duncan) of Ashland Ky. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Wilma Stambaugh of Louisa Ky. Bentley was preceded in death by his parental grandparents Arthur and Judy Holbrook Castle and maternal grandfather Elvis Lee Stambaugh. He also is survived by Melinda(Kenny"Batman"Dalgo, Lee(Joann)Stambaugh, Hannah(Chris)Marcum, Johnny(Jeanetta)Stambaugh, Casey Holbrook (Billie Morgan), Jason(Lisa)Dixon, and James Dixon and many cousins and friends who loved him and will miss him so very much. Bentley Holbrook will sadly be missed by many but one day we will see him again.

Details: Brother Roy Adams and Brother Matthew Adams will be officiating the ceremony. Arthur Holbrook, Ethan Holbrook, Kendra Stambaugh, Chloe Pennington, Colten Stambaugh, and Drake Duncan will serve as pallbearers.

Fundraiser Description
I would like your support to help our family in our time of need. We lost our 8-year-old son last year and it's been really rough on our family since then. Any help will be greatly appreciated and never be forgotten. Bentley reached a lot of people's hearts in his 8 short years while here on Earth and I hope that whoever reads this will donate to help us out with things we need for his memorial or anything else we plan on doing. Every year in his honor on his birthday and the day he was taken from us we will be doing something to remember him by and also that way he will never be forgotten by anyone that knew him. With that being said God Bless you all and thanks for everything that people have done so far.

Bentley it's been almost a year since you were taken from us and everyday just gets worse and worse for me. I miss you so much and it's not fair that you didn't get to experience all the things that you should have gotten to do. I won't get to see you grow up, or watch you graduate from high school. I won't even get to see you fall in love with that special girl and get married and have my grandbabies. But son I promise you one thing your daddy will keep you forever in his heart and every night that goes by I promise to look up to heaven and tell you I love you with all of my heart and that i miss you so very much. I would have taken your place any day so you could have lived on. I don't understand why it couldn't have been me instead but it's not for me to understand I guess. But I will never forget your handsome smiling face and I honestly don't know if I will ever move past this day. You and your brothers and sisters are my world and I shouldn't had to bury my wonderful little boy you were supposed to have buried me first. Things don't go they way they are supposed to sometimes but it still isn't right. Daddy will always keep you in my heart baby boy and I won't ever move on without you. I try to keep in mind that your always with me but it doesn't make things any easier for me. I love you so very much and hopefully your proud that I was your Daddy and that you know i will always love you.
