We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Bernard Silver. Born on May 10, 1959, in Kittrell, North Carolina, Bernard lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by his family and friends.

Son of Matthew Silver and Zelda Bullock-Silver, Bernard leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his five children, Lachavis Bullock, Bernard Silver Jr (spouse Quanasia Smith), Brendon Wright, Keyon Silver (spouse Carla Jones), and Anthony Silver. He was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren; Yasmine Bullock, Yiana Bullock, Lachavis Bullock Jr, Jayla Wright, Chazure Bullock, Kaitlyn Silver, Alexis Silver, Johnathan Bullock, Angel Silver.

Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Bernard always had a joke ready to bring a smile to those around him. He had a passion for fishing and spending time outdoors, enjoying nature's beauty with his loved ones.

Despite his battle with cancer, Bernard faced each day with courage and grace, never letting his illness define him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we say goodbye to Bernard, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, forever remembered for his kind heart and generous spirit.
