It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard Whitiker, who shuffled off this mortal coil on September 25, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia. He was born on July 8, 1961, and boy did he make the most of his time on this earth.

Bernard was a loving father to four children, and a doting grandfather to seven adorable rugrats. He loved them all dearly, even when they drove him up the wall with their antics.

When he wasn't busy wrangling his kids and grandkids, Bernard could usually be found out on the water, fishing to his heart's content. He had a knack for reeling in the big catch, much to the envy of his buddies.

Despite his gruff exterior, Bernard had a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Bernard. We'll never forget the laughter you brought into our lives.
