Bernardino C. Nuñez IV, 83, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Las Vegas.He was born on Dec. 29, 1932, in Tucson, Ariz. to Bernardino Nuñez and Benita Canez Nuñez.Bernadino served in the United States Army from February 1953 to January 1955 where he served in the Korean Conflict. He worked as an auto body painter for 25 years for Rocky Mountain Body Shop. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernardino and Benita Nuñez; sisters, Carmen Espriu, Benita Marinez, Dora Benavidez and Ramon; and son-in-law, Steve Valdez.He is survived by his daughters, Lori Faqerzai and partner, Sean, of Arizona City, Ariz., Cathy Nuñez and Stephanie Brady of Las Vegas; brother, Frank Nuñez and wife, Gloria, of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Natalia Nuñez of Tucson, Ariz.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral service will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at Camposanto de Jesus Maria y Jose in Montezuma with the following serving as casket bearers: Adrian Valdez, Phillip Valdez, Roger Valdez, Tino Ramirez, Javis Sanchez and Jesse Benavidez.
