Carpiaux, Bernice M.Bernice M. Carpiaux, 89, Green Bay, died peacefully Saturday, July 15, 2017 at home surrounded by family. She was born on August 1, 1927, in the Town of Union, WI to Henry and Lucie (Jeanquart) Rass.Bernice married Jules Carpiaux on September 23, 1947, at St. Mary's of the Snow Catholic Church. She worked at Schreiber Foods for 39 years before retiring. Bernice donated 52 gallons of blood and also volunteered for the Red Cross as well as volunteering at St Vincent de Paul. She was a longtime dedicated and faithful member of St. Agnes Parish, The Community of Christian Women, the Rosary Society, and washed and starched church linens. Bernice enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning, quilting, sewing, knitting and baking. She was very proud of her Belgian heritage.Bernice is survived by her husband, Jules; her children and their spouses, Randy and Nancy Carpiaux, Perry and JoAnn Carpiaux, Tina Marie and Dean Springstroh; grandchildren, Greg (Beth) Carpiaux, Jodi (Chad) LeBoeuf, Stephanie (Jamie) Evraets, Tim Carpiaux, and Brian Carpiaux; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Hannah, Kaylah, and Sawyer; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Beatrice (Raymond) Denil, Clarice (Harris) Cochart, Angeline (Edward) Jandrain, and Eva (Arnold) Vandertie.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 pm. Wednesday, July 19, followed by a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 20.
