Bernice White was born on June 5th, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Herbert White Sr. and Frankie M. White. She was the fourth of six children.
Bernice always loved the beautiful creations and animals. And because of that love, she had a desire to learn more about The Grand Creator. She began her search as a young girl, and in her adult life, she found what she believed to be the truth in which she symbolized her dedication as one of Jehovah Witnesses on August 24th, 2002
Bernice fell asleep in death on January 8th, 2021, in Markham, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, and two sisters, Jardine and Sharon. She leaves to cherish her, a significant number of family and friends who will always love her memory. Starting with her son, Brandon White (Michelle), her granddaughter, Ella White, her sister, Lavern Smiley (Emmet), and her brothers Albert (Muriel) and Herbert Jr. (Carol). Her nieces Shawn, Audrey, Brandi, Ericka, Kela, and Gianna. Her nephews Trenton, Andre, Aaron, Al Junior, Alex, Patrick, and Steve.
Her many great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins referred to her as Auntie Nisi.
To her friends, she was known as Nisi.
To Ella, she was Grandma Nisi.
No matter what she was called, Bernice will be remembered as always remarkable because of her humor, charm, and her ability to check-in or keep tabs on everyone no matter what was going on in the world.

WHEN I'M GONE
Those we love remain with us, for love itself
lives on.
Cherished memories never fade, because a loved
one's gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought
apart.
For as long as there is memory, they'll live
on in the heart.
