Bernie Ramirez ,35 long-time resident of Sonoma County, tragically passed away in a car accident in Sacramento on April 17th, 2016.
Bernie was born December 10, 1980 in Ukiah, CA. His parents, Mary Rosetta Ramirez and Bernabe Ramirez were overjoyed with happiness; he was the second oldest of five. Bernie was an amazing brother to Michael, Jaime, Christina and Cynthia Ramirez. They all had a very close relationship with him.
Bernie was always very adventurous from a young age, he loved the outdoors, hiking, camping and snowboarding. He loved working on cars and enjoyed going to car shows. His wish was to finish building his Chevelle and take it to car shows. Bernie just loved living life to the fullest, having fun and making memories. He was loved by so many, and had many close friends. Bernie’s biggest treasures in life were his family and friends. He was the type of man who would do anything for the people he loved, as he was always there to help if anyone ever needed it. He was a loyal friend and a loving, very caring and compassionate person, whom could also make you laugh uncontrollably. He had a great sense of humor and was always a joy to be around. He was the definition of “life of the party.”
Bernie will be missed very much. He is survived by his parents, Mary Rosetta Ramirez and Bernabe Ramirez of Santa Rosa, CA, his grandmother, Kathy Lewis of Samoa, CA. His brothers, Michael and Jaime, and sister Cynthia (Bubbles). His cousin Rance Lee Lewis, and uncle Rance Lewis along with many other uncles and aunts, he is also survived by his nephews Marcus Gonzalez, Adrian Gonzalez, Jacob Ramirez, Michael Ramirez and his niece Angelina Ramirez. All of whom Bernie loved dearly.
