Bertha Mae Junco, 89Winchester - Bertha Mae Junco, 89, formerly of Winchester, Indiana passed away on August 25, peacefully at The Waters of Yorktown. She was born on December 28, 1927, in Captina, West Virginia to Velma (Wandling) and George Landers.She was a homemaker and later a secretary at Stone Station Elevator in Saratoga, IN, for many years. She helped create the Winchester Little Girls Softball Association and her hobbies included sports, cooking and sewing. She attended the Mount Zion Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church of Winchester and Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Muncie. Bertha is survived by her brother Larry Landers of Columbus, Ohio; son Gary Junco of Houston, Texas, son Bill (wife Linda) Junco of Hudson, Wisconsin; daughter Louise Torsani (husband Joe) of Cape Canaveral, Florida; son John (wife Margaret deceased) Junco of Yorktown, Indiana; daughter Jane Junco (husband Scott) of Dalton, Georgia and Grandson Wade (wife Sarah) Junco of Dallas, Texas. She has fourteen other grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dana Wilson and Ruth Moore; three brothers George Landers Jr., Henry Landers and Harley Landers; son Robert (Bob) Dean Junco; and ex-husband Manual Junco Jr. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Towne Square Business and Community Centre, 123 W. Franklin St., Winchester, IN, with Bill Junco officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery. Viewing will be at Towne Square Business and Community Centre, on Friday, September 1, from 3:00 to 7:00, as well as an hour prior to services on Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Kellie Stephen Scholarship Fund c/o Community Foundation of Randolph County, Inc. 213 S. Main St. Winchester, IN.
