Bertha Tanksley, 57, of Speake Alabama, passed Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was born to Berlin Daniel, and Bertha Daniel, February 21, 1960. She married Emmett P. Tanksley, and they lived together in Speake.
Bertha is survived by her daughter: Sissy Tanksley. She also is survived by 5 grandchildren: Shyanne Hill, Tylar Tanksley, Austin Hill, Tiffany Tanksley, and Madison Tanksley. She is preceeded in death by her son, Jonathan Tanksley and her parents.
Family will meet at Speake Christian Fellowship Thurday, March 29, at 11 am and the visitation will follow at Parkway Funeral Home. Mrs. Tanksley will be buried Friday, March 30, at 12 pm starting at Speake Christian Fellowship and on to Lebanon Cemetery in Speake.
