We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Beth Ann Bryan-Wright, born on May 3, in Lufkin, Texas. She peacefully left this world on March 20, 2025.
Beth Ann was the beloved daughter of Joseph Carter and Evelyn Miller. She was the loving spouse of William “Red” Wright, whom she was married to for 36 years. Beth Ann attended San Augustine High School and went on to work at Colonial Pines as a COTA for 25 years until her retirement in 2008. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and rocking in her chair on the porch. She was an active member of her church, The Cowboy Church of San Augustine, and loved hosting dinners on Sundays after church for her family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Carter and Evelyn Miller, her sister, Lorenette Gilcrease, her first husband, Samual Bryan, her Son, Jacob Bryan, her grandson, Samual Bryan III, her great-grandson, Wyatt Kelley, and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Bryan.
Her survivors include her husband, William “Red” Wright of San Augustine; son, Mathew Bryan and wife April of Lufkin; grandchildren, Ashley Kelley of Gladewater, Joniee Waller and husband Kevin of College Station, Joana Force and husband Richard of Paris, Dakota Bryan of Joaquin, Jason Bryan and Kourtney Bryan of Corpus Christi; great-grandchildren, Madison-Rose Bennefield, Raythan Kelley, Eleanor-Lux Kelley, Nathan Waller, and Naomi Waller.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
