Mrs. Beth A. Crews, 76, of Lake Conroe, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born on February 27, 1940 to John Karl Edward and Avenleagha Alma Grant Knopf in Rockford, Michigan. She grew up in Rockford with her brother Jack and her sister Barbara. After graduating from Rockford High School, Beth moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she lived for several years. In 1975, Beth moved to Houston, Texas and enjoyed a long career with Bank One working in the securities department. It was in Houston that she met her husband Jan Crews, who preceded her in death in 2012. Jan and Beth were married for 27 years.

Beth is survived by her sister Barb, niece Jacinda Reyers and her family as well as nephew Scott Grimm and his family; stepdaughter Laura Bernshausen and her husband Dean; stepdaughter Jennifer Taylor and her husband Andy, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Kathy Crews; grandchildren Emma Bernshausen and Jacob Taylor, along with numerous other family members and friends in Texas and Michigan.
