Bette was born on September 9, 1928 to Sarah Elizabeth Lewis Stoor and Mathias Emanuelsson Stoor in Wayan, Idaho.On June 21, 1947 Bette married Kenneth Douglass in Pocatello, Idaho. Bette was an exceptional mother, homemaker and a kind and generous person. She and Ken enjoyed sailing, dancing, and the company of all of their friends. They were long time members of Seagull Bay Yacht Club. They went on several recreational sailing exertions, including up to the San Juan's. They also competed in several sailing regattas.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Emery Douglass after a great marriage of 64 years; her parents; and sister, Wilma. Bette and Ken had four children, Steven Douglass, Barbara Douglass, Deborah Ellsworth and Kathrynn Douglass; brothers, Farrell and Frank "Buster" Stoor; seven grand-children; and eight great grandchildren.There will be a celebration of her life held at a later date; please contact Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot for details.
