Mother Bettie Mae Lee-Lassiter was born in October 14th, 1934 in Raleigh, North Carolina. And took her eternal rest on May 15th, 2020 in Cheverly, Maryland.

The Sixth child of 11 children born to the Late Rev. Isaac Lee and Mrs. Idella Gardner-Lee, Mother recieved her education from the Wake County Public School System, attending Lucile Hunter Elementary, Garfield Elementary and Washington Junior-Senior High School.

Mother was known for the love she had for God, as she would say all the time, "the Lord is Good". She was an active member of Central Baptist Church of Bladensburg under the leadership of Pastor Elgie A. Labbè since the summer of 1989 as a member of the choir and Leading Mother.

Mother Lassiter is recieved in glory by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, her parents, and two of her children, Donald and Deborah.

She leaves behind forever cherished memories with her 5 out of 7 children, 2 Sons Lenwood and Ronald Lassiter of Washington, DC, 3 Daughters Pamela Sydnor, Robin Smith-Lee (James) of Hyattsville, MD and Cassandra Washington (Antonio) of Laurel, MD, 3 sisters Alberta L. Richardson and Dorothy L. Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ruby J. Campbell of Egg Harbor, New Jershey. 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends.

We Love you gran, continue to watch over us, for your living was not in vain.
