ANGOLA — Bettie Jean Myers, 95, of Angola and formerly of Butler died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, at Dupont Hospital Fort Wayne. She was born on Good Friday, April 18, 1920, in Butler to the late Carl K. and Edith P. (Wagoner) Bercaw. She graduated from Butler High School in 1938 and upon graduating attended Fort Wayne Business College. She had worked at Marshall Clothing in Butler, Maxton Motors, and the City of Butler at the Water Department. She enjoyed the Angola Senior Center, IU basketball, lunch and exercising with her lady friends and being with her family. She is a member of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. She married Kent D. Myers on Oct. 31, 1943, at home in Butler. He preceded her in death Nov. 28, 2003. She is survived by three sons, Craig E. (Karen) Myers of Waunakee, Wisconsin, Jeff (Susie) Myers of Angola and K. Dave (Lynne) Myers of Markleeville, California; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Dick Bercaw. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St., Angola, with Pastor Keith Schreffler of Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery, Butler. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Steuben County , P.O.
