Obituary: Betty Robinson
Betty Jean Robinson, age 72 passed away on March 28, 2023 in Bealton, Virginia. She was born on July 11, 1950 to her parents who were the happiest people alive until they met her.
Betty is survived by her four children who were never quite sure if she loved them, and her six grandchildren who only remembered her as the lady who kept telling them to be quiet. Her husband, Frank Robinson, precedes her in death as he could no longer put up with her constant sarcasm and love for reality TV.
In her life, Betty was known to be a woman who loved to complain about everything and everybody, but who never actually did anything about it. She had a passion for collecting all sorts of things, including dust, and enjoyed watching reruns of "The Golden Girls" whilst munching on extremely burnt popcorn.
Her hobbies included calling customer service representatives to complain about products she never purchased, asking for the manager at every restaurant she visited, and driving at a comfortable speed of 10 mph under the speed limit while listening to polka music.
Betty was notorious for her terrible cooking skills, her dreadful singing voice, and her excessive use of emojis in text messages. Despite all of this, she will be dearly missed by the neighbors who loved to secretly spy on her and the post office employees who were often recipients of her long-winded conversations.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 1, at 2pm at Preston and Sons of Manassas. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service so anyone who could stand her is welcome. Interment will follow to Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bealton were she will be laid to rest.
Preston and Sons Funeral Home of Manassas is serving the family. Arrangements are being held through Funeral Director Judy Ward with the Upmost or Care.
Rest in peace, Betty. We're pretty sure you're up there now, telling God how He could do it better.
Note: This obituary was pre written by Betty Herself to catch her humor even in death.
