Betty Louise BoothFebruary 12, 1930 - January 27, 2015Betty Louise Booth, 84, of Boise, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 12, 1930 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Wilmer Dade "Smokey" and Rilla Robbins Copes. She was the second of two daughters. Their mother passed away when Betty was just two years of age. Smokey married Gaye Hill in 1935 and a son and brother, Max was added to the family and they moved to Nampa to make their home. In 1941 she was baptized at the Nampa First Christian Church. Betty attended Nampa schools, graduating from Nampa High School in 1947.In 1949, Betty married Don Dugger and a son, Steven Earl (Steve) was born to this marriage. She married John Booth and in 1963 a son, Anthony John (Tony) was born.Betty began her employment with Western Electric Co in 1950. She later transferred to Mountain Bell Co. working in the networking department. She worked in the Boise, Denver and Phoenix offices until her retirement in Boise in 1987.She was preceded in death by her second husband, Wayne Jorgenson; her parents, Rilla, Smokey and Gaye Copes; brother Max Copes; a nephew, Jerry Baltazor; and a brother in law, Ray Baltazor.Betty is survived by her sons, Steve (Maria "Dode") Dugger and Tony Booth; granddaughters, Stefanie Duby, Heidi (Mike) Fettic, Kelli (Sam) Riley; great grandchildren, Jason, Taylor, Steven Duby, Logan and Lauren Fettic and Jess Riley; sister, Lucille Baltazor; nephew Jim (Anita) Baltazor; niece Terri (Pat) Greeson; special friends Glenda Berry and John Booth and many more friends that know whom they are.A celebration of her life will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So., Nampa, Idaho 83651 (442-8171). A luncheon will follow at the First Christian Church, 619 12th Ave. So., Nampa, Idaho 83651. All are invited.
