Betty Carolyn GaileyViera, FloridaBetty Carolyn Gailey, a long-time Florida resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, the 7th of May at 92 years of age. She was born on January 6, 1925 in Clarion, PA to Glenn and Bessie George. Betty was active as the President of the Florida Federated Republican Woman of Cocoa Beach from 1992 to 1996, former president of the Riverwest Condominium Association, and a member of the Cocoa Beach 1st United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur F. Gailey, Jr. and her sister, Bonnie Kelly. She is survived by two sons, Robert Gailey and Steven Gailey, two daughters-in-law, Kathie Gailey and Judy Gailey, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Health First , 1131 W New Haven Ave, W. Melbourne, Fl 32904 . A service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Dr., Viera, FL 32955 at 4pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017.
