Sandefur, Betty Cooke,80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 11, 2017. She was born on August 2, 1936 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James Love Cooke and Marie Givens Cooke. Betty is preceded in passing by her brother James W. Cooke and her sister Maxine Gardner.On August 17, 1957 Betty married A. B. Sandefur. She is survived by her husband, her children; Jenni Franklin (Fred), Tricia Schel, Juli Sandefur, and Tom Sandefur, 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.Betty retired from Jefferson County Public Schools and was a homemaker.
