Betty Darlene Deppe, 88, of Loveland, CO (and most recently of Peakview Memory Care in Centennial, CO) passed away gently on October 13, 2016. She was born on March 22, 1928 to Merlin and Nora Clark in Jackson County, Iowa. Betty was one of six children. Betty married Donald Lawrence on April 26, 1949 and they had 3 children. In 1965, they moved their family to Loveland. Betty was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and enjoyed time spent with the women of the Council of Catholic Women (CCW). Betty loved being a mother and homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and her many hobbies including cooking, baking and scouting out new recipes, playing cards and games with good friends, and various crafts throughout the years. Those left to honor her memory include her children: Debora (Ralph) Myers of Aurora, CO; Cynthia (Jim) Jackson of Bradenton, FL; and Darryl (Thu) Deppe of Woodinville, WA; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, her sister Norma (Glen) Bormann, and beloved extended family and friends. Cremation has been conducted. The celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 10:00 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John's Catholic Church at 1730 West 12th Street, Loveland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honor Hospice in care of Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home.
