BOURNE, Betty Eileen "Boo Boo"It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Betty Eileen Bourne, who lost her battle to cancer, on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Boo Boo, as she was fondly known, was born on January 24, 1939 in Prelate, SK. Her sister, Pearl McCloud, was by her side to the end. Betty was also very much loved and will be missed by her husband Chuck Bourne; children Debra (Jim) Grondin and Darrell (Darlene) Bourne; six grandchildren and her first great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents Owen and Verda Vaningan; son Monty "Kenneth" (surviving wife, Jackie) Bourne in February of 1982; as well as brother Bill (surviving wife, Iris) Vaningan from Red Deer, AB passed in 2014. Boo Boo went out on her terms. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Peter Lougheed Hospital for their care and support during this time. The family would also like to extend their thanks to her General Practitioner, Dr. Dia, as well as, Dr. Bebe and Nurse Kate from the Tom Baker Cancer Clinic.
