Betty J. Anderson, 84 died at 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, September, 29, 2013. She was born on July 7, 1929 in Lafayette, IN. She graduated from St. Lawrence School in 1943 and attended Jefferson High School. Mrs. Anderson worked at Andover Corp. and was employed by Wright Flowers for 23 years. She also worked as a caregiver until retiring in 1999. She loved her family, gardening, and knitting. She was a follower of Crystal Cathedral Ministries.Surviving are two sons, David R. (Melody) Anderson, Larry D. Anderson, and three daughters, Deena M. (James) Shereda, Vicki J. (Kenneth) Simmons and Connie R. Abston. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, two brothers, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and a daughter-in-law. Memorial services will be held at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN.
