Betty Smith, 91, of Hudson Falls passed peacefully on December 23, 2021 at Fort Hudson Nursing Facility. Betty was born on July 08, 1930 in Hartford to the late Harry and Sophie (Parker) Smith. She was a die hard Boston Red Sox fan and cherished her grandson, Corey. She enjoyed helping out and spending time with her family, was fiercely independent and lived at her home in Hudson Falls up until a year and a half of her passing.

Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her two brothers, Johnson Smith and George Smith; and five sisters, Martha Tammaro, Shirley Horton, Doris Blake , Joyce Aubrey and Norma LaRock.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Scott and his wife Crystal; her grandson, Corey; her sisters, Pauline Perrotte and Charlotte Girard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at Moss Street Cemetary in Hudson Falls in the spring.
