Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bells, TN.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home. Betty was born on September 22, 1932 in Bells, TN, daughter to the late Owen Williams and Elise Richards Scammerhorn.She was a member of First Baptist Church, graduate of University of Tennessee and was an avid UT Vols Fan. In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Lankford and step father, Will Scammerhorn.Survivors include, son, Jamie Lankford; daughter, Carol (Billy) Walker; brother, Clint Williams; grandchildren, Mollie Walker, Maggie (Eli) Swift and Will Lankford.
