Betty Lee WrinkleSan AngeloBetty Lee Wrinkle, 92, of San Angelo, passed away on Jan. 1, 2017 at a local nursing home.Betty was born on March 20, 1924, to Frances and Margaret Colburn in Baltimore, Maryland. On Sept. 6, 1943, she married William "Bill" Wrinkle in Abilene, Texas, after which they spent the next 56 years together. Betty was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She loved spending time surrounded by her loving family, as well as her loving church family.She was preceded in death by her father, Frances Colburn; mother, Margaret Colburn; husband, William "Bill" Avery Wrinkle; son, Tracey Britton Wrinkle; son, Bruce Wrinkle; and two great-greatgrandchildren.Betty is survived by sister-in-law, Jane and husband Eddie Davis of San Angelo, four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Lorraine Wrinkle of Greenville, South Carolina.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, in the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel, with Dr. James A. Miller of The Heights Baptist Church officiating.
