On July 14, 2024, Knoxville, Tennessee lost a shining light with the passing of Betty Hester. Born on September 1, 1942, Betty brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Donell Deadrick; mother, Asnatta Bewley; and son, Randall Hester.

Betty is survived by her loving family: son Phillip Hester (Senta); daughters Donna Inman (James), Pat Young (Wayne), Rhonda Winn (Dewayne), Sue Hester, and Cheryl Hester; sister Peggy Hester; and brother Ernest Bewley (Carolyn). She also leaves behind a host of cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother, always doting on her eight grandchildren and filling their lives with love and fun.

With a heart as big as her smile, Betty touched the lives of everyone she met. Her kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.

Although she may be gone, Betty's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Rest in peace, dear Betty.
