Alifelong resident of Washington, NJ, Betty M. Meyer, 83, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022 at home with her family by her side. Born: Born on January 4, 1939 to the late Elsie and Arthur Meyer. Personal: Betty graduated from Washington High School class of 1957. She was a material handler for American Can prior to her retirement in 2006. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and a social member of the VFW Post103 in Washington. In her early years, Betty enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, traveling to the casino and with a little luck on her side, she also enjoyed frequently purchasing her lottery tickets. She will be remembered as a woman who truly enjoyed family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: She is survived by her loving daughters Denise Fox and husband Joe of Washington and Ronda Considine of Washington. 9 treasured grandchildren Jason Meyer, Amie Klemer, Theresa Sokoloski, Charles Dorn, Allen Van Ness, Joseph Fox, Jr., Holly Van Ness, Stephanie Dorn and Christopher Considine. 14 cherished great grandchildren.
