Banks Daytona Beach, Florida - Betty died peacefully at her home Saturday, May 27, 2017.  She was born on April 16, 1920, in Randolph County, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Bessie Luzader.Betty attended Muncie Central High School graduating in 1938 and later married Harry Banks in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1997.  Mrs. Banks worked ten years at Forest Park Elementary School as secretary and later became a homemaker and she attended the Wilmore Memorial Church.  Spending time with her children and grandchildren was very precious to her.Betty is survived by her son James Banks (Sharon) and daughter Virginia Banks; four grandchildren Keesha (Mykul), Tyson (Hailee), Nevin (Kayla) and Dane (Patti); five great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Mallory, Michael, Levi, Haley, several nieces, nephews , great nieces, and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Mary and Martha and three brothers, Harold, Robert and Edwin.Arrangements of been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home.
