Betty Jane C. Rasico1926 - 2015Betty Jane C. Rasico, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, with her loving daughter by her side, Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at the Magnolia House.She was born on Nov. 15, 1926, to the late Gilbert DeBruin and Mae Eleanor Nelson-Skinner in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.On April 23, 1949, she married Robert M. Rasico in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 2012.Betty Jane worked at A&P Grocery Store for many years.Betty Jane enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, crossword puzzles, camping, fishing, going to the cottage at Brown's Lake and playing Bunco with the girls every week. She was very competitive at table games. Betty Jane loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She also loved animals.Betty Jane is survived by her loving daughter Sandra (Michael) Schmidt of Kenosha, her grandsons Bryan (Jerelyn) Schmidt, Kevin (Dawn) Schmidt and Michael Schmidt, her great grandchildren Austin, Mariah, Spencer, Tyler, Drake and Cameron, her stepbrother David DeBruin of Arizona and her stepsister Judy Eastman of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald DeBruin.Funeral Services for Betty Jane will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
