On June 10, 2025, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Betty Smith, who was born on June 7, 1936 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States.

Betty was a cherished daughter to Larry and Lana Allen, and a devoted mother to her two children, Dian Rice and Allen Smith. She was a loving grandmother to three grandchildren.

Betty dedicated much of her life to her work at Colgate, where she made lasting friendships and meaningful contributions.
