BETTY LOIS WALTERSSEPTEMBER 25, 2017Betty Lois Walters, a Florida Native, passed away on September 25, 2017 at Tidwell Hospice in Arcadia. She was born on April 22, 1937 in Arcadia to parents Morton Livingston and Janette (Tippins) Livingston.After graduating from Desoto High School, Betty went into the US Air Force and served as an Aircraft Control and Warning Operator stationed in New York.She also worked for the Florida Department of Transportation for over forty years in Ft. Myers, where she also resided.She is survived by her son Richard, (Vickie) Walters, Grandson Daniel Walters and Great Grandson, her baby, Dalton Walters.She was preceded in death by son, Harry Duane Walters, sister, Barbara Thomas and brothers Morton "Jimmy" Livingston and Richard Livingston.She also leaves behind sister, Lorna (George) Kron, sister-in-law Carol Livingston, nephews Mike Livingston, Richard Butler and many Great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many many treasured friends.She loved to dance, loved Elvis and was a huge Peyton Manning fan. Her southern charm and spitfire self will be truly missed, but we know she is dancing in heaven. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later announced date. Please visit
