Beverly A. LarsonMay 16, 1941 - November 25, 2016Salem - Beverly A. Larson passed away at her home in Salem on Friday, November 25, 2016 at the age of 75. She was born on May 16, 1941 in Tillamook, Oregon to David Adler and Mary Josephine (Tone) Brown, and was fifth of 14 children. Beverly married Conrad D. Larson on July 21, 1962 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tillamook, and together they raised a family of five daughters. Before she married, Bev worked at the Tillamook Chamber of Commerce, Elmer Olson, CPA and Mel Larson Realty. She also worked as legal secretary to attorney William McDonald in Portland, and was a caseworker with St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Bank in Salem. After Conrad's passing in 1989, Beverly worked at the Marion County Assessor's Office as a senior clerk, from which she retired in 2001. Beverly will be remembered as a vibrant, generous, and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her home always smelled of the cookies and banana bread that she made for friends and family, as well as for the plumber, the lawn care crew, gas station attendants, and the list goes on. She loved tending her small rose and flower garden and visiting the library with her children and grandchildren. For more than 40 years, her favorite activity was fitness walking, whether it be through the neighborhood with De Gander and other walking partners or as a participant in charity walks in Colorado and Oregon. She opened her home to many people over the years, offering support, kindness and a sense of family to all. She was actively involved with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish in Salem and was a member of the Altar Society.Beverly is survived by her five loving daughters: Julie Larson Bricher (Steve), McMinnville; Toni Larson, Salem; Nguyet Larson Ngo, Hickory, NC; Lisa Larson (Erin Morrissey), Portland; and Jodi Gillespie (Keith), Albany. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Monique and Tyler Huynh, Ella, Claire and Gracie Conri Larson, and Zachary, Sean and Abigail Gillespie. Known lovingly as Little Annie Rooney by her family, she is also survived by seven siblings: Sandra K. Russell, David Brown, Michael Brown, Molly Kinyon, Timothy Brown, Mary-Alyce Coffman, and Jim Brown.The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tillamook. The rosary begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Tillamook. Fr. Andrew Baumgartner, Monastery of the Ascension, Jerome, ID, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Beverly's name may be made to (
