It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Beverly Thompson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Beverly was born on March 14, 1932, in Damascus, Arkansas, and peacefully left this world on August 12, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

Beverly was a woman of incredible warmth and kindness. Her infectious laughter and caring nature touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was a pillar of strength, always providing comfort and support to her family and friends in times of need.

Beverly was a devoted wife to her husband of 55 years, Richard Thompson. Their love was unwavering and served as an inspiration to all who witnessed it. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

Beyond her role as a loving wife, Beverly was a nurturing mother to Jackie. She dedicated her life to her and her daughters happiness and well-being, sharing in their triumphs and providing guidance during challenging times. Her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren will forever cherish the memories of her unconditional love and unwavering support.

Beverly's greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She embraced her role as "Nana" wholeheartedly, showering her grandchild, Theresa with endless love and affection. Her grandchild was the light of her life, and she took great pleasure in nurturing her interests and celebrating accomplishments.

In addition to her family, Beverly was an active member of her community. She volunteered at the local library, sharing her passion for literature and fostering a love of reading in children. She was also an avid gardener, her vibrant flowers brightening up her neighborhood and bringing joy to all who passed by.

Beverly leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, but her legacy lives on through the memories and lives she touched. While her physical presence may be gone, her love and legacy will continue to bring comfort to all those who mourn her loss.
