Beverly was born in Delight, Arkansas and moved to the Monterey Peninsula with her mother and step-father, Lowell and Grace Hennington, in her late teens. Once here she worked as a telephone operator for Pacific Bell until she met and married Frank V. Sollecito. They were married for over fifty years.
She spent many hours at her church, Saint John's, worshipping and volunteering for the E.C.W. She enjoyed country line-dancing with friends and spending time with her family.
Beverly is survived by her sons and daughter, Frank Sollecito (Sannie), Greg Sollecito (Rosa) and Grace Lanning. She is also survived by grandsons Gabe Sollecito, Drew Lanning (Sina), Adrian Rios, Alejandro, Fernando and Adan Lopez; great grandaughters Marley and Tayor Sollecito and great grandson Ronin Lanning. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Sollecito, daughter Catherine Sollecito, grandson Frank Sollecito, Jr. and brother Bill Bartholomew.
Her family would like to thank Dr. King, the VNA Adult Care Center in Monterey and The Del Monte Residential Care Home in Pacific Grove, especially Julia, for taking such good care of her in her later years.
