Beverly WetzelTroendleBeverly Wetzel Troendle, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died peacefully on April 27, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born on July 16, 1924 to George and Rose WetzelIn New Orleans, Louisiana. She married Lieutenant Commander William Brady Troendle, a Naval aviator, in 1943 and celebrated 69 years of marriage before his death. She was a parishioner of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church. Beverly was an active Navy wife and was a lively member of numerous clubs including the Pensacola Yacht Club, the Pensacola Garden Club, and the Knitwits. Two sons, Richard Allan Troendle and Thomas George Troendle, precede her in death. She is survived by her son William Brady Troendle, Jr (Barbara), daughter Carol Troendle and husband H. Steve Sussman, grandchildren William Brady Troendle III (Michelle Nix) and Shelby Rose Troendle Gaudet (John), and great-grandchildren William Brady Troendle IV and Thomas Michael Gaudet.A memorial service will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6th, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation at 12:30 p.m. A reception will follow, directions to be given at the service.Internment at Barrancas cemetery NAS Pensacola will be Monday, May, 8th, at 1:30 p.m. with procession line up at 12:30 p.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
