Biff Weber, of Chelsea, Michigan, age 74, passed away at home on Thursday, November 17, 2016. He was born on June 17, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, the only child of Felix Heinrich Weber and Silvia M. (Billo). Biff had lived in the area since 1985, coming from California, and was a member of the Chelsea First United Methodist Church where he served on the Finance and Music committees and also the capital campaign for Sanctuary renovation. He was co-owner of Palmer Ford in Chelsea, a former president of NADA, and served on the Board of Directors for Ford Dealer Advertising Fund. He received the Presidents Award from Ford as a distinguished dealer for 10 years in a row. Biff served as Chair and Co-Chair for the Chelsea Community Hospital Auction Committee for many years and on the Capital Campaign Committee for the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital Cancer Center, in addition to being a member of Chelsea Kiwanis and Chelsea Rotary. He enjoyed golf, Premier League soccer, St. Croix, and was a fan of Chelsea Soccer and Basketball, both Boys and Girls, sports which he also coached.On August 25, 1984, he married Suzie Palmer in Chelsea and she survives. Also surviving are his children: Shaun Stiles of California, Trisha Stiles of California, John Weber and Matt Weber, both of Chelsea; the mother of his first two children, Joan Stiles-Weber; two grandchildren, Luke and Kennedy; his mother-in-law, Donna Palmer; and his sister-in-law, Carol Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law George Palmer.A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church with Rev. Joy Barrett and Rev. Tom Macaulay officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date at Oak Grove East Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea High School Athletic Boosters (note "Biff Weber" in the memo line), the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital Cancer Center, or the V Foundation for Cancer Research (through Jimmy Valvano).
