First, my apologies to the family for posting this so many years after Bill’s passing. I am sorry for your loss. Bill D and I worked together in the 90s and it was during that time that the company underwent a big contraction with layoffs.
The company reshuffled the staffing assignments, andI found This wonderful guy to be somehow under my charge even though I was about half his age. He delighted in the opportunity to mispronounce my last name and while it wasn’t terribly funny in the moment, it became more so over the years, so much so that I sometimes call myself “Pallskawowski” as he so renamed me. I was working towards my license and the time I spent with this guy, undoubtedly and without question opened my eyes, and he taught me how to think like an architect rather than as a drafter. he was a great guy and I think of him sometimes and will continue to do so, Fly High Bill, Fly High…

Bill D as often like to be called was a mentor for me while training as an architect. We worked at two architectural offices. Our cool things to do was to go out for a mom and pop homemade hamburger. We were buddies for 30 years. God bless you Bill.
