HANDY, Bill Age 79 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1936 in Campton, KY, the son of the late Charles Everette Handy and Lou Stamper Brewer. Bill was a retired Machinist for Aeronca with 37 years of service, U.S. Army Veteran and a life time member of the VFW Post #7596, Franklin. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lena M. Handy in 2009; and four brothers, Junior Handy, Ishmuel Handy, Ivan Handy and Tom Handy. He is survived by three daughters, Mary Louella Handy, Linda Nichole Handy, and Linda Lou Taulbee; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; his brother Cecil Handy; three sisters, Freda Harvey, Liza Ison, and Ruth Fugate; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Butler County Memorial Park Chapel, Trenton, Ohio, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with Military Services by Franklin V.F.W. Honor Guard. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
