Billy Lee was born on October 27, 1938 to the proud parents of Hallie E. Johnson and Theodore Harris. He was born and raised in New Orleans , Louisiana. He lived a very happy life with his mother and step father Cleveland. He joined the United States Air Force in November 1955 and served until December 1956. Billy then later moved to Los Angeles, California in 1960. He fathered 5 children Billy L. Harris , April V. Lee , Tanya N. Harris , Shannon S. Lee and Mia N. Lee. He also worked for the United States Postal Service and retired in 1986 . 

His true love and passion was music . He loved rhythm and blues. He obtained a massive collection and began to dj around Los Angeles. He loved being around people , it brought him happiness . He always has a vibrant smile on his face through the good and bad . His children and grandchildren Jasmine, Britney, Byron De'Anthony, Brenique Nycole, Lanya and Kelani. 

Billy is now with his loved ones that left this earth before him. His parents Hallie and Cleveland Lee, his daughter Mia and grandson Seth.
