Blenda Hines-Scott 58 of Kansas City, MO passed June 18, 2018.

Blenda was born to Charles Brown and Leola Geraldine Manning, April 10, 1960, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Central High School in 1978. She married Arlester Scott together they raised three children.

She leaves as her legacy two children: Nicky Hines and Jabbar Scott. She also leaves to cherish her memory six siblings Anthony Hines, Ernest Hines, Dewinerd Brown, Shelia Toney, Tandra Manning and Marlon Manning. Two grandchildren Jacob Hines and Jamyiah Scott. With a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by Charles Brown- father, Leola Manning- mother, Eddie Hines- brother and her son William Cooper.

Blenda was an entrepreneur who specialized in sales until her first stroke in 2004. We will all remember her as a strong woman with a heart of gold and the love of God. Passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

A memorial service will be held at Gilbert Memorial, 3700 Topping Kansas City, MO. June 25, 2018, at 1 pm. A reception will follow at 10901 Bristol Ter, Kansas City, Mo. 64134. The family requests that donations be made to Shelia Toney or Sheena Noble. The family would also like to thank all family and friends for celebrating the going home of Mrs. Blenda Hines-Scott.
