“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” — John 9:15
Life Reflections
“There is no greater love than the love of God. We have lost one so dear, who has passed from death unto life.”
Be of good courage and wait on the Lord! Blondie’s race has been run; her victory won. The pages in the ‘Book of Life’ continue to turn—Blondie knew that God was in control. ‘You have run well. Come now, lay your head upon my breast and rest. It is well with your soul.
Surrounded by loving and saddened hearts, an angel was commissioned to carry our beloved Mrs. Blondell Fogle Holt to answer the Master’s call on Monday morning, November 11, 2024. She passed away peacefully at Pruitt Health West in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 76.
Blondell (Blondie) Fogle Holt was the fourth child of the late Reverend James Fogle and Mozell Jenkins Fogle, born on August 6, 1948, in Charleston, South Carolina. She later met and married Jerome Timothy Holt Sr.; to this union, two children were loved and cherished—a daughter, Madeline G. Holt, and a son, Jerome Timothy Holt Jr., both of Atlanta, Georgia.
Blondie, a cherished member of the Metro Atlanta community, was known for her ambition, infectious laugh, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to helping others. She gave generously and selflessly, sharing her time and love with family and friends. To her family, she offered boundless love, understanding, patience, and guidance. She taught us about the world, the importance of kindness, and the value of respecting God and everyone she encountered.
Blondie was a pillar of strength and support to those around her, always ready with a smile and a listening ear. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her legacy of compassion and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
