We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of my father Bob McCray Sr., who left this world on August 17, 2024, at the age of 67. He was very independent, he lived a full and vibrant life.

He had a unique sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day and he made everyone laugh. He was known for his love of music, spending hours listening to his favorite songs. He also had a passion for reading, always retaining new information and being informative. His culinary skills were legendary, he enjoyed cooking very much. He took such pride in his appearance so he was always groomed and well dressed.

Despite his battle with cancer he never lost his zest for life. He faced his illness with courage and dignity, never losing his sense of humor or his love for those around him. He was not alone and didn't suffer, thank God. He passed peacefully, at home, being held by his children and with his dignity in tact. The exact way that he wanted it to be. His absence leaves a hole in our hearts, but we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace.

Rest in peace dad. Your laughter and love will be greatly missed.
