Taylor died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on August 28, 2017 in Washoe Valley, NV at the age of 69.Bob is survived by his wife, Martha; children, Shannon Hutchinson, Tim Taylor, Melody Lupinek and Jennifer Lupinek and 3 brothers, Ken Taylor, Larry Taylor, and Jack Taylor. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Leverne Taylor and Ruth Collie.Bob was born on February 5, 1948 in Madera, California. He graduated from Barstow High School in 1967. Bob joined the Army and served 2 years as Military Police in Germany. When he moved to this area, he worked for warehouse companies in many different capacities. Bob spent 3 years working for the WCSD. Bob is remembered as a kind, gentle, and patient man who enjoyed helping others.Bob was accomplished at woodworking and often built many different items still being used in some of WCSD schools. He was a generous individual who loved horses and dogs. Bob often spent his free time working with the Wild Horse Connection or volunteering at CRCS (Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary).The family will honor Bob's request of no service. The family would like to thank caregivers/hospital staff at the Reno VA Hospital and the caregivers of Circle of Life Hospice for their efforts, care, and dedication.
