ANGOLA — Bobby G. Johnson, 75, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. Mr. Johnson was a retired truck driver. He was born on May 10, 1939 in Blackton, Arkansas, to the late George W. and Lilly M. (Enzy) Johnson. He enjoyed music and was an accomplished musician. He was a member of the Living Water Church of God in Angola. He married Mary A. (Tucker) Johnson on May 1, 2014, at Living Water Church of God and she preceded him in death on November 4, 2014. Surviving are a daughter, Christi Contreras of Andrews, Texas; five stepdaughters,Debra Fisher of Hudson, Indiana, Tina (Dave) Zaugg of Tippecanoe, Indiana, Rebecca Montgomery and fiancé Joel Tubbs of Hudson, Indiana, Lisa (Claxton) (Edward) Moser of Angola and Tammy (Neil) Rodgers of Angola; two stepsons, Gerald (Marilyn Kaye) Fisher of Gas City, Indiana, and John T. (Cheri) Williams of Fremont; a brother; Lesley Johnson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Johnson; two sisters, Marie Whorton and Shirley Garcia; and a former wife, Shirley (Davis) Johnson. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 1 p.m. at H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West St., Angola, with Pastor Wayne Prosser officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Union Cemetery, Merriam, Indiana. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at the funeral home 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
