BRIDGES, Bobby Len Bobby Len Bridges, age 83, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, John Bennett "Ben" Bridges, and parents, Tanner and Johnnie Brogdon Bridges. Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife, Reba Brooks Bridges, Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Rebecca Lyn Bridges Mills and husband Mike Mills, Bethlehem, GA; son, William Michael "Bill" and Cathie Lord, Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Brad Mills, Bethlehem, GA; Jennifer and Will Peters, Tallahassee, FL, Jake and Ashley Lord, Tallahassee, FL, Tanner Charles Bridges, Dallas, GA; five great grandchildren, Gabe and Megan Peters, Caleb Peters, Jacob Peters, Rebecca Peters, Liam Lord; two great great grandchildren, Blake Peters and Presley Peters; aunt, Annie Kate Brogdon Allgood, Buford, GA; numerous cousins. Mr. Bridges was born on February 7, 1933 in Buford, GA. He was a 1950 graduate of Buford High School where he played football. He began his work career with Bona Allen Company in Buford, and later he retired from Pfizer Company in Atlanta, GA after thirty years of service. Mr. Bridges was a member of Lawrenceville First Baptist Church. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, and he also continued to follow the Buford Wolves football program through their many years of success. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
