Bobby R. Angermiller, Sr., was called to be with the Lord on August 12, 2017. Bobby was born on December 12, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to Marvin Edward and Helen (Cocker) Angermiller.Moving to Ruidoso in 1978, Bobby served his community in Law Enforcement. He started his career with the Ruidoso Downs Police Department and retired from Lincoln County Sheriff's Department after 20 years of service. He also worked as a safety officer for Deversified Oil in Hobbs, NM. He never met a stranger and always helped people in need. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be love and missed by all.Bobby leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Sherri Arnett Angermiller of Ruidoso; son, B.J. Angermiller and wife Christi of Boerne, Texas; daughter, Codi Burnham and husband Khyle, and his pride and joy granddaughter, Bentley Burnham of Maricopa, AZ; brother, Roy Angermiller and wife Pam of Knippa, Texas; brother-in-law, Bobby Arnett; sisters-in-law, Linda and husband Mike Morris and Peggy Lawing. He has numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Helen Angermiller.In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations sent to the Special Olympics and National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.Bobby was very adamant about his memorial service. He said he wants everyone to just remember the good times. So we are having a Celebration of his life on Friday, August 18th at Wingfield Park Pavilion from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
