Bonnie Rose Sexton, 80, of Galax, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on July 16, 1936, in Grayson County, to Robert J. and Clyde Sexton. Survivors include several cousins. A service was held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Meadow Creek Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Brandon Berg officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
