Bonnie Taber, a beloved member of the Leesburg community, passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on April 13, 1947, Bonnie was known for her loving personality and kindness. Preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lisa Marie Kaur Grewal, in 2015, she is survived by her husband, Timothy, her son Bruce Edward Schartzer of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, her brother, Dan Bailey of Leesburg, Florida, three grandchildren, Blake Grewal, Mya Grewal, and Mickey Grewal in Michigan, and numerous cousins throughout the country.
A 1965 graduate of Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan, she ultimately moved to Central Florida in 2015.
Her last formal employment had been as a legal secretary at the State of Michigan Accident Fund.
Her devotion to her grandchildren occupied much of her joyful thoughts, and the love was fully reciprocated. Bonnie had a fondness and talent for interior design, hand crafts, gardening, and homemaking. She even considered starting her own business for interior designing after being encouraged by so many loved ones of her eye for interior design. Bonnie would gift some of her hand made crafts to her grandchildren, all of which they have and will continue to cherish. She was a woman of many talents; however, for those who knew her even in the slightest, her greatest traits were her kindness and her loving manner. She had a heart of gold which lives on throughout her family. She was someone that you could talk to for hours and it would only feel as though minutes had passed. Her loved ones can recall these heartwarmingly long conversations filled with laughter and love. She always put others first and loved unconditionally. Whenever her loved ones were in need of a listening ear, she never failed to reassure them and provide the upmost comfort they sought out. She was always willing to drop everything if it meant providing help and support to her loved ones.
Although she had to leave her loved ones physically, it does not mean that she is not still present with them every day. She will continue to cheer them on. She will continue to comfort them when they need. She will continue to love them unconditionally. And she will continue to act as a guardian angel along with her daughter, Lisa Marie Kaur Grewal, for her loved ones.
