ANGOLA — Bonnie Jean Zinn, 74, of Angola and Shelby Township, Mich., died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Lakeland Nursing Center of Angola. She was born on Oct. 29, 1939, in Mio, Mich., to Verdwin James Pratt and Donna Marie (Hochstetler) McCormack. Surviving are a daughter, Antoinette Marie "Toni" (Scott) Farr of Shelby Township, Mich., two sons, David Thomas (Diana) Bono of Shelby Township, Mich., and Renato Phillip (Lori) Bono of Washington Township, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Damaris Lankford of Manaus, Brazil, William Pratt of Bradington, Fla., Thomas Pratt of Rosscomon, Mich., Delores Hartwig of Palmetto, Fla., Duane Griffin McCormack of St. Louis, Mich., and Karen Louise McCormack of Angola. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dominic Joseph Bono on Jan. 7, 2006; four siblings, Robert Pratt, Trudy Pratt, Patty Pratt and Linda Sue Pratt; and her stepmother, Alta Pratt. According to her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Beams Funeral Home in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
