Brad Clough69, of Carmel, IN, passed away in The Villages, FL on November 10, 2016. Brad was born on July 22, 1947 in Crawfordsville, IN to Esther and Gould Clough. He was a 1965 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and attended ITT and Vincennes University.After working at ITT Sams, Brad became involved in the reprographics industry in which he worked for more than 35 years. He was an integral part of Marbaugh Engineering Supply in Indianapolis for more than 25 years. After a successful sale of the business, Brad and his family moved to Las Vegas and owned and operated AquaPerfect Water Systems. When the period of his non-compete ended, he moved back to Indianapolis in 2000 and developed and formed Marbaugh Reprographics, of which he was President, with several former colleagues. Then again in 2007, Brad negotiated a sale of the company and worked for the new owners until he retired in 2009. His career exemplified his great entrepreneurial talent. He was a master of "the deal."Brad belonged to and was active in numerous industry and professional organizations including: CEI, IRGA, ReproMax, Firepower, ISPLS, CSI, and AIA. Brad also was a United States Auto Club official and worked the Indy 500 and IndyCar for more than 25 years allowing him to be included in The Old Timers Club. Some of Brad's other memberships included The Indianapolis Athletic Club, The Columbia Club, Indianapolis
Rotary Club, Montgomery County Lodge #50 F&AM, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine.While Brad loved being an entrepreneur, he also had a deep love of fishing that dated back to his days with his family at Lake Webster more than 60 years ago. His passion was fishing in Canada trying to catch that trophy northern, walleye or smallie. He was able to enjoy his annual trip this past June with his longtime fishing compatriot and dear friend.Brad was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Nancy Bly and great nephew, Brandon Watson. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lisa, daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Brandon Lockhart, grandson, Bradon Lockhart and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN.
